The weeds had not multiplied as much this time. I think that am beginning to win the battle with them. Applied Roundup to the clumps of nut grass, as that only spreads when you cut it back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Began to remove the trash leaves from the rhizomes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Will soon be time to apply fertilizer.  Stopped by the COOP to check on the prices. As of this morning 29 July we had received 2.7 inches of rain. Some of the eastern parts of the county received as much as 6 inches. There were reports of flooding and also to the east.&lt;br /&gt; Rainfall report ending at 0700 29 July 2004&lt;br /&gt; &lt;ul&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Cleburne 7SE       4.80&lt;/li&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Cleburne             3.45&lt;/li&gt;   &lt;li&gt;Burleson  3SSE   7.70&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt;  It is still raining this morning so will probably not have to do any watering for a couple of weeks.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Yesterday planted the Pansy seed. These should germinate in about 10-15 days. Tree limbs etc were blown down. The ariport reported &lt;strong&gt;2.35 inches&lt;/strong&gt;.  I will check my rain gage in  the morning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The drainage ditch was running full and we had a strong wind with the storm.  Need to check for any trash in the drainage ditch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The cucumbers have lots of blooms, but not many are setting at this point.
